A large rectangular Welsh slate plaque, this plaque is ideal for large properties or presentation plaques. The plaque is made from slate mined in Welsh quarries and is approximately 20mm thick. To add a touch of class we polish the edges and face of this slate plaque then bevel the edges. A range of typestyles are available for diffent looks of lettering and in addition we offer a great selection of motifs. This Welsh slate sign is carved with your house name or other inscription as well as optional motifs if required. Finally all of the carving is inlaid from a choice of white, gold or silver enamel or finished in 23¾ carat gold leaf. These slate plaques last a lifetime. To maintain the high standard of workmanship, all that is required is an occasional wipe over with teak oil. The plaque shown has Old English lettering arced around the top and bottom of the plaque with a galleon motif carved into the centre of the sign, the motif and lettering are finished in gold leaf.
